Our custom design leveraged the information architecture and database schema to support the required business processes and aid smoother correspondence. i3solutions designed the sites, structure, metadata taxonomy, security, data fields, forms, UI/UX, search scopes, workflow components, document libraries, data migration and integration. To help refine its processes, we carried out a technical assessment of the client’s existing data fields and processes. This was performed in order to help convert the data fields and processes into a taxonomy and information architecture in the new SharePoint system. In addition to this, we developed the web-based forms, workflows and portal pages to support the new systems. We also created the workflow components to automate business processes and collect the necessary data fields for each process. The end result? A state of the art portal that is reliable, scalable and powerful.
